The Baker-Bird Wine Cellar is the longest and oldest wine cellar that is open to the public in America today. Standing in the middle of this vast structure during a tour of the winery it is an awe inspiring experience. Consider for a moment attempting to build a 90 feet long by 40 feet wide by 40 feet tall structure buried into the hillside of the Baker property in the 1860’s!
